Olivier's Pilot Log: South to South Adventure

Why did I think I was Cousteau?

"You should experience the pool diving, it's fun!" Said Guido one morning. (See Mike's Log for the presentation of the crocoflying tribe characters.) I never tried to dive and always dreamed about test driving the "water flying". And that sounded like the right opportunity. One day later, I grabbed the air bottle and the blue "Spiro" bag stored in the big hangar next to the microlights and headed to the pool. Mike gave me some dual instructions on basic diving thrills and we went down to the bottom practising the buddy breathing (2 divers and one bottle). I just forgot how fragile my hearing system was with pool water. That was a real mistake and I was about to pay for it by experiencing the most painful days of the expedition...
