Mike's Pilot Log: South to South Adventure

The locals were very friendly, respectful and cheerful.

We had an early breakfast at the hotel with Richard and Paulina. Richard gave us a lift to the airport at 7 am. We filed a flight plan, paid the landing fees, packed and took off in good weather for Benin. Flew to Natitingu, Benin. It was becoming turbulent and a large storm hovered nearby, so we stayed and slept the night next to the trikes. The locals were very friendly, respectful and cheerful. Put the tent up because of the mosquitoes. Suffering from hayfever and sleepless nights.
