Mike's Pilot Log: South to South Adventure

We were at the Nigerian embassy at 9 am

We were at the Nigerian embassy at 9 am to have a second attempt at getting a Nigerian visa. Our intention is to do a refuelling stop in Port Harcourt only, so in reality we do not need a visa. But, to guarantee that we stay out of a soul destroying Nigerian jail just because we happen to be white or because we meet the wrong official, we have decided to get a visa. I will expand on Nigeria later. They said we must get it in Cotonou, Benin. No point in losing our tempers again – so we controlled our almost uncontrollable emotions and left.

In the afternoon we took some people for flips to raise a bit of money.
