I woke at 6 am to the sound of rain on the window and
the whistling of the wind. OK, back to sleep. At 8 am I called North Bay Weather to be told that it was best to stay indoors today. The winds were in the same direction as yesterday and were about 20 percent
stronger. Also, the cloud base was lower and there was more rain.
Damn frustrating! This morning weatherman told me -
"here in the Arctic, when you need good weather, it never comes, when you need bad weather, it's always delivered on time!"
There is nothing we can do – just wait.
