Hi Oliver,
I was just catching up on the progress of your trip,thinking of how much different you are experiencing this part of Africa than I did . All kind of memories are coming back to me as you mention all these West- and Central African cities. I have been flying into most of them as well when flying for Air Afrique all though with a slightly bigger machine. (I needed at least 1500m of concrete, Point-Noir was just the limit)
You remember that I was planning a trip from Switzerland to Abidjan in my Kitfox! I guess some people just get stuck with their plans! And there are some darn ones who just do it !!!!!
Some day you will have to teach me real flying!!!
Emirates still has nothing to do for me. They are still waiting for more A330.
But I’m far from complaining I have never been bored by not working and the weather (temp in the high 30’s) is becoming very pleasant now!
