YESTERDAY WAS BEAUTIFULL. ...EVERYTHING WAS ROLLING AT SOUND SPEED. ...WE MANAGED TO GET 2 VISAS IN ONE DAY. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT? USUALLY AFRICAN EMBASSIES NEED DAYS TO GET THESE STAMPS IN YOUR PASSPORT. MALI WAS EXTREMELY EASY AND VERY FRIENDLY. WE EVEN HAD A PHOTO SESSION WITH THE AMBASADOR (a Lovely fatty coloured African Mama) IN FRONT THE NATIONAL BANNER OF MALI. CAMEROUN WAS ALSO EASY BUT HELL EXPENSIVE. USUALLY I DISLIKE TALKING ABOUT MONEY, BUT CAMEROUN ASKED US OVER 150 $ EACH WHICH IS QUITE OF A KIND OF DAY LIGHT ROBBERY.. ..BUT WHAT CAN WE DO?? ..IN THE OTHER HAND, THE AVIATION AUTHORITIES OF MOROCCO GAVES US A POWERFUL WELCOME ON THE SIXTH FLOOR OF THE CARPETED BUILDING OF THE MINISTERY OF TRANSPORT IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA OF THE "AGDAL" (Koulchi l'Agdal Rouya!!!!). ..THANKS TO MR CHANTIT AND MRS BARA FOR THEIR VERY WELCOMING ATTITUDE. THEY PROMISED US RAPID PROGRESSES WITH THE FLIGHT PERMITS TO THE SOUTH AND ACROSS TO MAURITANIA. THE ARMY HAS TO GIVE THE FINAL APPROVAL. ...MOROCCAN TV WILL MAKE A 15 MN STORY ON CHANNEL ONE ON NEXT WEDNESDAY IN CASABLANCA SO WE WILL BE STARS AGAIN LIKE IN SOUTH AMERICA... ...TEUFEL!I STARTED TO MISS THAT LOVELY FEELING OF GIVING OTO-GRAPHS TO SCREEMING CROWDS ( and groupies..) AND BEING RECONISED IN THE STREET..

..BUT TODAY WE HAD LESS LUCK WITH OUR SECOND VISA HUNTING DAY. OF COURSE - AS I EXPECTED - NIGERIA WENT NASTY AS USUAL. EVERYONE ELSE IS FRIENDLY, BUT NIGERIA HAS TO BE DIFFICULT. WE GAVE UP TALKING WITH THE GUY (because his brain could not cope with the simpliest discussion and the whole story went banana).. AND TOLD HIM WE WOULD GET THE VISA LATER IN BENIN.

TONITE WE WILL HAVE A LAMB SHOULDER WITH GARLIC SAUCE AND FRIED FRIES WITH SOME EXCELLENT MOROCCAN RED WINES. I AM "ZA" COOK OF COURSE.. ..WE HAVING GREAT FUN WITH LOUIS AND MBAYA OUR HOSTS. THE CLIMATE HERE IN SEPTEMBER IS JUST UNBELIVEABLE... EXCEPT MOUHAMIDOU BENZAMOK DIALODIDIALOU (the brain damaged Nigerian executive)EVERYONE IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY AND TENDER WITH US (EVEN THE POLICE ARE EXTREMELY NICE WITH US.. YESTERDAY, I HAD TO JUMP ON MIKE TO STOP HIM FROM ATTEMPTING KISSING A ROYAL GENDARME BECAUSE HE WAS SO KIND TO HIM...) YES, MOROCCAN PEOPLES ARE DELIGHTFUL SOULS. I LOVE THEM ALL. BUT NIGERIA??? F...!!

ON NEXT WEDNESDAY, WE SHOULD RESUME TO THE SOUTH, HEADING TO CASA AND ESSAOUIRA. WE JUST PASS OVER 30'000 KM NOW.. NOT BAD... ...Thanks for staying with us through that last link we have (the Chat line). I send you billions of African sun rays and many more kisses. ...Please tell Mama Blyth in Cape Town ("Bleet" in French..)that her Dear Baby is in full form having an horse health at the moment.

Thanks to Driss Zob El Khebir for the wonderful years in Morocco with JerryCanYouCan Sexpedition Ltd (82-88). That is when I discvered that very special & Oriental paradise so close to our stinky motorways. This is when I got the marvellous virus of the Blue Fantasia in the Velvet fumes of the Oudaias Gardens.. Please kiss very tight Radija Kouskous y Bournous from us all, especially Mike and Mohamed Klaouis shaking next to me picturing the roundness of your half dear.

Love

Olive
