DEAR AMIGOS! THANKS FOR KEEPING AT LEAST THE CHAT ALIVE BECAUSE SADLY, THE REST OF THE PAGE IS A WRECK.. THIS PAGE IS SLEEPING COMPLETELY, DEAD... ANYWAY? LET ME TELL YOU WHERE WE ARE:

WE ARE IN RABAT, THE CAPITAL OF MOROCCO!

WE JUST ARRIVED FROM SPAIN TODAY AFTER A SHORT 2 AND HALF HOUR FLIGHT... (with 35 mn over the Gibraltar strait from Trafalgar Cape - where the English gave a bloody "koukourouste" to the frogs and Spaniards in 1804 - to Tanger.

How pretty Africa is! Just one step (or wing flap) over its coast and already Passion and Magic appears..

I was a bit nervous crossing the 50 km between Spain and Maroc because my brother Reynald was my passenger.

My mother's two valuable sons on the same ultralight over these somber swallowing water.. and only one life jacket for 2 ( of course I wore it because I am the bad swimmer of the familly..) You can trust me, I was very gentle with Saint Rotax, wispering sweet thoughts to him through the sky and over the dark waves of the detroit.

We met some very nice people again these last days. Thanks to all of you in the other side. The beach evening last night was fantastic, althought the "dormir" was a little short..

Louis Bernex another old Bandit living in Africa and girl friend Mbaya invited us to stay. We will lay our sleeping bags in their wonderful garden and dream under the stars. Morocco is an outdoor country for romantic nights without roofs.

Morocco is really great. One day, I will move here, and stay for a couple of years.

We ate our first "Tajine" (the national plate, sort of stew.. there is 1000 different kind of tajines). Mike and Greg love the mint tea and my brother has been the most gentle travel companion for a long time. We ask him to stay longer but he has to get back for an exhibition of his paints.

We also found this Internet cafe and that is why I can send that little note to the friends chatters.

The weather is again beautifull and in 3 or 4 days, after we get some visas done we will head South to the Sahara... These flight ahead will be some of the best, no doubts. We wish Andre and Martine to be here with their trike and travel all the way to namibia with us. With these big new side bags, Martine could easely take all her useless toys and gadgets. Otherwise, we started to get used of being 4. It will be strange to be 2 again. If anyone want to join us let us know! We make special offers on African flights. Conditions: light passengers, under 55 kg, and preferably shaved legs (for the aerodynamic)..

More news very soon. And please, protest on the chat to get the page alive again. Thank's!

Kisses from the 4
