Yesterday in Rockland, Maine, we were fortunate enough to meet Olivier and Mike. We were flying two Lear-35s, equipped for GPS WAAS testing or, if required, other emerging technologies. Meeting these adventurers reminded us of why we have spent so many years as professional aviators. We all have a great love for flying but long for the simplicity and freedom that Olivier and Mike are able to luxuriate in, despite the physical and mental demands of their expedition. Best wishes for a continued safe and profitable journey. Also, hope you found a CO2 canister for that butyl rubber life raft; and, more to the point, hope you complete your journey without having to use it.
