I met Mike and Oliver during a fuel stop at the Ocean Isle airport on June 28, 1999. I am a glider pilot and my brother Chris, who was with me is also. He is building a trike for his hang glider, so it was a thrill for us to meet them. I gave Mike and Oliver a ride to a gas station for fuel and also showed them a local restaurant where they could get a good meal. They were heading on to Kitty Hawk, NC that day and we wished them the best of luck in their travels.
