Best of luck on your flight. I do not know if you know about the flying of ultralights here in the Philippines, but for a little over one year non-type certificated aircraft have not been allowed to fly here. The Air Transtortation Office (ATO) has not issued pilot licenses or registrated aircraft. Since January I have spent one to two days a week working with ATO and am just now getting the first 5 aircraft registered and operations areas set up. (yes we can only fly in small areas, and use of ATO airports is not allowed) Cross country is something for the future. Don't know if this is much help but PSAA does issue airworthiness cert. and pilot licenses to our members under ATO policy of self regulation. You may want to look at our web site http://www.philsportav.org e-mail me if you need more information.
